Hey!

When I draw my comics, I use 11x17 comic board, like Blue Line Pro (but it doesn't really matter what the brand is, at least not to me). Before I draw on the actual board, I thumbnail the page on a scrap sheet of paper so I won't make any mistakes when it's time to draw on the board.

Whenever I draw, I always use H2 pencils because they create really light lines that are easy to erase and I'll ink with micron pens because they don't bleed like Sharpies. The only time I use Sharpies are when I'm coloring big blacks areas and even then I don't color out to the edge, I'll use a micron pen to color the corners and edges. And I use Photoshop CS to color and finish my comic in. Use Illustrator to create your word bubble and text in (because they won't pixelate since it's vector unlike in Photoshop) and import them into Photoshop for your comic pages.

Oh, oh! And when you scan your work in, shrink it AFTER you color. And even then have two versions of the peice - the shrunken size for the comic and the original size prior to shrinking. Because you never know if someone takes interest in your work or you get into a gallery showing and they wanna blow it up poster size. The standard comic size is 6.625x10.25 so once I finish coloring a page, that's what I shrink it down to. When you're ready to print online, the printers always tell you the different sizes you can make your book. Check out ka-blam.com! That's the printer I use until I decide on a publisher.

As, I've mention before, I really like your line work. For some reason I think about watercolors filling your line work... or some kind of soft colors. I think that would be really beautiful. =^_^=

(ps, i gotta link your blog to mine, but i 4got how to do it, LOL. i'll have my friend help me)
